Using this site means you accept these terms
These terms cover your use of this website and the services Jurupa Valley Sunrooms & Patios offers. We're a sunroom contractor based in Jurupa Valley, CA. If you browse the site, call us, send the contact form or book an estimate, you're agreeing to these terms, so please read them first.
If you don't agree with something here, please don't use the site. You can still call us at (951) 416-3024 and ask about anything that isn't clear before you decide.
What we do
We design, build and remodel sunrooms, patio enclosures, screen rooms, solariums and patio covers for homes in Jurupa Valley and the cities around it. The home page lists our services and where we work, and our About page tells you who we are.
What's on this site is general information to help you plan. It isn't an offer to do any job at any price. What we'll build at your house, and how, is set out in a written estimate and contract for that job.
How estimates and pricing work
Quotes are free and done on site, and asking for one doesn't commit you to anything. We look at your house first because the size of the room, the foundation or slab under it, the glass and roof you choose, and how it ties into your house all change the price.
An estimate is based on what we can see and measure on the day. Once a job is open we sometimes find things we couldn't see before, like damaged framing or a slab that won't carry the load. If that happens, we stop, show you what we found and agree on any change in price with you in writing before we go on.
Estimates stay good for the period written on them. After that, material prices can move, so we may need to update the figure before you sign.
Scheduling, delays and cancellation
We set a start date with you once the contract is signed and any permits or materials the job needs are lined up. Dates are our best plan, not a promise, because weather, inspections, permit timing and material deliveries can push them back.
If we need to move your date, we'll tell you as soon as we know and set a new one with you. If you need to reschedule a visit or a start date, call us or use the contact page as early as you can so we can give the slot to someone else.
You can cancel a signed job in the way your contract describes, and you keep any right to cancel that California law gives you. If you cancel after we've ordered custom materials or started work, you may owe for those materials and the work already done, as your contract spells out.
Payment
Your contract sets out how much is due, when it's due and how you can pay. Payments are usually tied to stages of the work, so you're paying for progress you can see.
If a payment is late, we may pause work until it's caught up, and your contract may add any late charges the law allows. If something about the work is holding up your payment, tell us right away so we can fix it.
Warranties and what we don't promise
We're licensed and fully insured, and we want you happy with the room we build. Any warranty on our workmanship is the one written in your contract, and the products we install carry their makers' own warranties, which we'll pass along to you.
Beyond what's in writing, we don't make other promises about our work or this website. Information on this site is shared as is, and while we try to keep it accurate, we can't promise it's complete or current for your house.
Warranties don't cover damage from misuse, changes made by someone else, lack of normal care, or storms, floods, fires and other events outside our control.
Limits on our liability
To the extent California law allows, Jurupa Valley Sunrooms & Patios isn't responsible for indirect or follow-on losses, such as lost use of a room, lost income or the cost of staying somewhere else. Our total liability for any job is limited to the amount you paid us for that job.
We're also not responsible for how you use this website or for sites we link to, because we don't control them. Nothing here limits any right you have that the law doesn't let a business take away.
If we disagree
Call us first. Most problems get sorted out quickly once we're standing in the room together, and we'd rather fix it than argue about it.
If we can't settle it that way, we both agree to try mediation in good faith before going to court. If that doesn't work, either of us can take the matter to a court in Riverside County, including small claims court where the amount qualifies.
California law applies
These terms and any work we do for you are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to rules that would point to another state's law.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time, and the version posted on this page is the one that applies. A signed contract for your job keeps the terms it was signed under unless we both agree in writing to change it.
How to reach us
Questions about these terms or a job are welcome. Call (951) 416-3024, any day from 7 AM to 11 PM, or send us a note through the contact page, and we'll reply within 1 business day.
